Canning Community

Canning Council has an approximate area of 65 km².

It is comprised of the suburbs of Cannington, East Cannington, Ferndale, Lynwood, Parkwood, Queens Park, Riverton, Rossmoyne, Shelley, Willetton and Wilson plus parts of Bentley, Canning Vale, St James and Welshpool.

It is surrounded by the councils of Armadale, Belmont, City Of South Perth, Cockburn, Gosnells, Kalamunda, Melville and Victoria Park.

It is comprised of parts of the state electorates of Belmont, Cannington, Riverton, Southern River and Victoria Park.

It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Burt, Swan and Tangney.
