It is surrounded by the councils of Canning, Cockburn, East Fremantle and Fremantle.
It is comprised of the state electorate of Bateman plus parts of Alfred Cove, Fremantle, Jandakot and Willagee.
It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Fremantle and Tangney.
