Monaro Community

The state electorate of Monaro has an approximate area of 20,000 km².

It is comprised of 117 suburbs including Ando, Anglers Reach, Arable, Avonside, Back Creek, Ballalaba, Beloka, Bendoura, Berlang, Bibbenluke, Billilingra, Binjura, Boco, Bombala, Boro, Braemar Bay, Buckenderra, Bukalong, Bumbalong, Bunyan, Burra, Cambalong, Carlaminda, Carwoola and Charleys Forest plus parts of another 5 suburbs.

It is comprised of 49 localities including Adaminaby, Anembo, Araluen, Badja, Berridale, Bobundara, Bolaro, Bombay, Bondi Forest, Braidwood, Bredbo, Bungarby, Bungendore, Byadbo Wilderness, Captains Flat, Chakola, Cootralantra, Corang, Corrowong, Countegany, Dalgety, Delegate, Glen Allen, Ingebirah and Jerangle plus parts of another 10 localities.

It is comprised of the councils of Queanbeyan-palerang and Snowy Monaro.

It is surrounded by the state electorates of Albury, Bega, Brindabella, Gippsland East, Goulburn, Kiama, Kurrajong, South Coast, Wagga Wagga and Yerrabi.

It is within the federal electorate of Eden-monaro.
