Gippsland East Community

The state electorate of Gippsland East has an approximate area of 28,000 km².

It is comprised of 123 suburbs including Airly, Anglers Rest, Bairnsdale, Banksia Peninsula, Bellbird Creek, Bengworden, Bete Bolong North, Bingo Munjie, Boisdale, Boole Poole, Broadlands, Brodribb River, Bruthen, Budgee Budgee, Bullumwaal, Bumberrah, Bundalaguah, Bundara, Bushy Park, Butchers Ridge, Calulu, Cann River, Cape Conran, Cassilis and Clifton Creek plus parts of another 7 suburbs.

It is comprised of 70 localities including Arbuckle, Bemm River, Benambra, Bendoc, Bete Bolong, Billabong, Bindi, Bonang, Briagolong, Brookville, Brumby, Buchan, Buchan South, Buldah, Buragwonduc, Cabbage Tree Creek, Chandlers Creek, Club Terrace, Cobbannah, Cobberas, Combienbar, Crooked River, Deddick Valley, Deptford and Double Bridges plus parts of another 10 localities.

It is comprised of the council of East Gippsland Shire plus parts of Wellington Shire.

It is surrounded by the state electorates of Albury, Bega, Benambra, Eildon, Gippsland South, Monaro, Morwell, Narracan and Ovens Valley.

It is comprised of parts of the Gippsland federal electorate.
