Eildon Community

The state electorate of Eildon has an approximate area of 10,000 km².

It is comprised of 76 suburbs including Acheron, Alexandra, Ancona, Arthurs Creek, Badger Creek, Beenak, Bend Of Islands, Big Pats Creek, Boorolite, Buxton, Castella, Cathkin, Caveat, Christmas Hills, Chum Creek, Delatite, Devils River, Dixons Creek, Don Valley, Dropmore, Enochs Point, Fawcett, Fernshaw, Ghin Ghin and Gilderoy plus parts of another 7 suburbs.

It is comprised of 26 localities including Barwite, Bonnie Doon, Cambarville, East Warburton, Eildon, Gaffneys Creek, Glenburn, Healesville, Jamieson, Kevington, Knockwood, Lake Eildon, Limestone, Mansfield, Marysville, Mcmahons Creek, Merrijig, Mount Buller, Murrindindi, Narbethong, Reefton, Rubicon, Taggerty, Toolangi and Warburton plus parts of another 9 localities.

It is comprised of the councils of Lake Mountain Alpine Resort, Mansfield Shire, Mount Buller Alpine Resort, Mount Stirling Alpine Resort and Murrindindi Shire plus parts of Nillumbik Shire and Yarra Ranges Shire.

It is surrounded by the state electorates of Eltham, Euroa, Evelyn, Gembrook, Gippsland East, Monbulk, Narracan, Ovens Valley, Warrandyte and Yan Yean.

It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Casey, Indi, Jagajaga and Mcewen.
