Nillumbik Shire Community

Nillumbik Council has an approximate area of 430 km².

It is comprised of the suburbs of Arthurs Creek, Bend Of Islands, Christmas Hills, Cottles Bridge, Diamond Creek, Eltham, Hurstbridge, Kangaroo Ground, North Warrandyte, Nutfield, Panton Hill, Plenty, Research, Smiths Gully, St Andrews, Strathewen, Watsons Creek, Wattle Glen and Yarrambat plus parts of Doreen, Eltham North, Greensborough, Kinglake, Kinglake West and Yan Yean.

It is surrounded by the councils of Banyule City, City Of Whittlesea, Manningham City, Murrindindi Shire and Yarra Ranges Shire.

It is comprised of parts of the state electorates of Eildon, Eltham, Warrandyte and Yan Yean.

It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Jagajaga, Mcewen and Scullin.
