Upper Hunter Community

The state electorate of Upper Hunter has an approximate area of 28,000 km².

It is comprised of 207 suburbs including Aberdeen, Alison, Allworth, Allynbrook, Appletree Flat, Ardglen, Back Creek, Bakers Creek, Bandon Grove, Barrington, Baxters Ridge, Bendolba, Bengalla, Berrico, Big Jacks Creek, Big Ridge, Bindera, Bingleburra, Blandford, Borambil, Bowman, Bowman Farm, Bowmans Creek, Braefield and Brawboy plus parts of another 17 suburbs.

It is comprised of 63 localities including Baerami, Baerami Creek, Barigan, Barrington Tops, Belltrees, Blackville, Booral, Bundella, Bunnan, Bylong, Carrabolla, Cassilis, Cattle Creek, Chichester, Cobark, Coomoo Coomoo, Ellerston, Giants Creek, Giro, Glendon Brook, Glenrock, Gungal, Jerrys Plains, Kars Springs and Manobalai plus parts of another 14 localities.

It is comprised of the councils of Dungog, Muswellbrook and Upper Hunter Shire plus parts of Liverpool Plains, Midcoast, Mid-western Regional and Singleton.

It is surrounded by the state electorates of Barwon, Bathurst, Cessnock, Dubbo, Maitland, Myall Lakes, Port Stephens and Tamworth.

It is comprised of parts of the federal electorates of Calare, Hunter, Lyne and New England.
