Cairns Education, Training and Employment Program (CETEP)

The Cairns Education, Training and Employment Program (CETEP) delivers Skilling Queenslanders for Work training initiatives, supporting people in the Cairns region to develop skills, gain qualifications, and improve their job prospects.

Through tailored training, mentoring, and hands-on experience, CETEP helps participants overcome barriers to employment and build confidence in their career pathways. The program is designed to support job seekers, young people, and those facing disadvantage, providing them with the tools, opportunities and wrap-around supports needed to secure sustainable employment or further education.

By working in partnership with local industries and training providers, CETEP plays a vital role in strengthening the Cairns workforce and fostering economic and social inclusion.
