Pathology

Charleville Hospital has a Pathology Queensland collection facility and laboratory on site supported by HSQ. The collection facility has the capability to collect blood and serve as a drop off point for self-collection specimens such as urine and faeces. The laboratory is run according to NATA accredited standards and is operated by a team of two scientists and operational staff. The laboratory is capable of performing a variety of pathology tests with accuracy and in a timely manner, enabling same day turnaround times for certain tests. The facility is open from 8am – 4pm for collections.
