Exercise Physiologists help to improve and maintain their patients overall health and wellbeing through education and personalised exercise programs. They also assist with conditions that require adaptive exercise as treatment such as obesity, chronic disease, injuries and more.
Exercise Physiologists help to :
- Improve Cardiovascular function
- Increase physical fitness, strength, flexibility and overall mobility
- Achieve or maintain optimum health
- Achieve healthcare and/or fitness goals
In addition, our Exercise Physiologist's also:
- Organise and run local exercise groups
- Administer exercise stress tests
- Evaluate a person’s overall health, with special attention to cardiovascular function and metabolism
