Established in 1992, GCESS our not for profit organisation provides specialist employment services to people 14 years to retirement age with a permanent disability, injury or illness. GCESS is committed to empowering lives through quality employment support and training for people with disabilities or barriers, who aspire to gain award based employment.

• Learning the duties of the job.
• Talking to employers/co-workers about the job, disability or health issues.
• Developing strategies to help maintain employment.
• Workplace modifications and special equipment if required.
• Liaising with Medical Professionals, Community Services and Government Departments.
• Ensuring wages are linked to an award or legally ratified agreement.
• Wage Subsidies.
• Accessing the Supported Wage System to pay a pro-rata wage if the effects of a disability affect productivity.
