About Us

Diamond Creek parkrun in a larger map Course Description Starting at Marngrook Oval, the course heads over the footbridge then along the Diamond Creek Trail towards Allendale Road. Just before Allendale Road, runners turn around and follow the track back, taking a detour up a side path up 225m and back before continuing back along the trail, finishing where they started, over the footbridge at Marngrook Oval. Facilities If driving, please DO NOT park in the netball courts or YMCA carparks. Please make sure you park around Marngrook Oval, in the carpark behind the Bowling Club and near the off-leash dog park, or across the road around Coventry Oval. The area is a busy sporting hub on Saturday mornings so please respect other precinct users and DON'T park in the park in the netball courts or YMCA carparks. Getting There Location of startThe runs starts on the grassed area near the footbridge at Marngrook Oval. Getting there by public transportBus: Catch the 580 from Eltham. For bus times please click here. Train: Take the Hurstbridge Line, getting off at Diamond Creek Station. For train times please click here Getting there on footEnter via footpath along Hurstbridge Road or from Diamond Creek Trail. Getting there by roadTravel along Hurstbridge Rd, turning into the entrance for Marngrook Oval. Follow the road around to park in the carpark near the Diamond Creek Bowling Club. Please park around Marngrook Oval or across the road at Coventry Oval and NOT in the netball courts or YMCA carparks.
