General Advocacy Services
About Us
We are a peer-run service seeking to provide support and advocacy for victims of abuse and mistreatment from mental health and AOD facilities in WA. We provide peer support, information and resources for victims to report their experiences, and seek justice and healing. We are also advocating for change and increased regulation in the WA mental health and AOD sector. We are created and run by survivors of abuse from within the Esther Foundation.
We can assist individuals to report their experiences to the relevant authorities and provide information about support services available. We are a very new organisation without funding, currently, we can only support a limited number of individuals.
Survivors/Victims of the Esther Foundation can join the Facebook group "Survivors of the Esther Foundation" for information about priority mental health care and pro-bono legal assistance.

We are passionate about helping survivors reclaim control of their lives and their rights as human beings. Our mission is to raise awareness of the abuse and mistreatment taking place within West Australia's non-government mental health and alcohol and other drug (AOD) services and empower victims, survivors and consumers with the resources and support they need to seek justice and healing.
