Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) is a free government-funded program that pairs volunteer visitors with lonely and isolated older people to provide companionship and reduce social isolation.

Chorus Kitchen

Chorus Kitchen supply healthy frozen meals prepared in our commercial kitchen by fully trained chefs and delivered to the home by friendly volunteers. Meals are snap frozen immediately after cooking to maintain optimum freshness. No preservatives are added to our food and we source all ingredients from WA suppliers. Meals are available to everyone in certain delivery areas or can be collected.

Read Write Now

The Read Write Now program provides one-to-one help for adults who want to improve their reading, writing, maths, study or basic computer skills. Students work with trained volunteer tutors in an informal public space for about an hour and a half each week to achieve their personal and professional goals. The program operates in 18 metropolitan and some regional areas of WA.

Solaris Cancer Care have provided cancer support services to WA for over 20 years. Services range from physical activities, creative, energy, and touch-based therapies and counselling services. We support thousands of cancer patients and their supporters in WA through access to reliable information, complementary therapies and personalised care offered by our skilled volunteer network.

Stroke Foundation: StrokeSafe Volunteer Speaker Program

Our StrokeSafe volunteer speakers are trained in public speaking and experienced in delivering life-saving messages about stroke. Our volunteers cover a range of issues that will help your organisation or group better understand stroke and how it can be prevented including; what a stroke is, how to recognise the signs of stroke, what to do if someone is having a stroke, how to prevent stroke.
